Christian is the visionary leader and Chief Executive Officer of MekaIES, a pioneering company in the field of electrical Engineering, renewable energy and safety security industry.

With a robust background in electrical engineering and a keen understanding of industrial electronics, Christian brings over 10 years of experience in navigating complex technical landscapes and driving innovation.

Christian’s journey began with a degree in Electrical Engineering, followed by an illustrious career where he honed his expertise in troubleshooting intricate technical issues and implementing cutting-edge solutions. Company Culture

Meka Industrial Electronic Solution (Pty) Ltd. Abbreviated as MekaIES, it’s not just a company; it is the embodiment of a dream fueled by passion, determination, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. At the heart of this inspiring story is Christian Kadibu, a visionary whose journey from a curious hobbyist to a pioneering entrepreneur is nothing short of remarkable.

The Spark of Passion

Christian’s love for engineering began at a young age, where he spent countless hours tinkering with gadgets and exploring the intricacies of electrical systems. This passion led him to pursue a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. His dedication and talent were evident, and upon graduation in 2016, he joined a renowned electronics company in Cape Town, South Africa.

A Relentless Pursuit of Knowledge

Christian’s thirst for knowledge did not stop there. While working part-time, he continued his studies, determined to deepen his understanding of industrial electronics. In 2019, he proudly earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with a specialization in industrial electronics from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. This achievement was a testament to his relentless pursuit of excellence and his commitment to mastering his craft.

A Family’s Support and a Bold Decision

As graduation approached, Christian’s family recognized his potential and the significance of his vision. Instead of a traditional celebration, they chose to invest in his future. With their support, Christian received $500 USD, which he used to purchase essential tools. This gesture of faith and encouragement from his family marked the beginning of a new chapter.

Turning Challenges into Opportunities

Christian’s entrepreneurial spirit shone brightly as he approached his manager with a bold proposal. He offered to repair broken inverters at home for clients who could not afford the company’s prices. Recognizing the potential, his manager agreed, and Christian began serving clients at a lower cost, ensuring that no one was left without access to essential services. This initiative not only showcased his technical expertise but also his commitment to making a difference in the community.

Our Vision

Encompassing the fields of industrial electronics and renewable energy, MekaIES is indispensable; the valued partner and expert solutions provider to the industrial electronic, engineering consulting, and safety & security industry.

Due to the lack of access to electricity in many African households and the increasing rate of e-waste, MekaIES aims to facilitate access to sustainable energy by providing affordable solutions for stable power supply to many African households and fight industrial obsolescence by giving extended lifespan to different electronics equipment.

Currently, MekaIES is only established in Cape-Town (South Africa) but aims however to conquer the African market by extending strategically. MekaIES targets to establish a fully equipped electronics laboratory in African countries in order to offer practical training to a greater number of students in electrical, electronic, electromechanical and mechatronic engineering. Thus, valuing their experience and solving the challenges of the lack of experienced African engineers.

Our experience in following up with customers and positive feedback motivates technicians to deliver more reliable work that exceeds customer expectations. MekaIES aims to continue being synonymous with quality services and products. Thus, customer satisfaction is and will remain core value, the driver of progress, and the touchstone of our success.

By repairing or upgrading electronic, mechatronic, electromechanics devices, MekaIES facilitates recycling, refurbishment, and reuse, which reduces the need for the extraction of core raw materials, thus promoting Circular Economy and enhancing the Sustainability of the sector and the country.
